Surgery went very well, they were able to do it laparoscopic. They said only about 2 ft of my large colon remained when she go in there due to my Crohns. My stoma friend is already working, it passed gas today and I got the giggles which caused a bunch of pain. My Dr was really shocked how fast it started to work (surgery was Monday), I'm already on a low residue diet and food is working fine. I also have a j-pouch in that will be removed before I go home. As for pain meds, I'm on a morphine pump and Percocet.neither one are causing me nausea, in fact I haven't been nauseous since I've been here...knock on wood...I'm just very thankful how good my recovery is going. Thank you guys for all your support.
