Is or has anyone done Team Challenge? Can you share your experience? Now that my son is in remission, and I have time, I'm considering it... but also a bit scared. I've struggled through 5k's and am no longer a spring chicken - not sure I can really pull a half marathon off.

I've never done the Team Challenge. But, have gone to a meeting where they talked about it. If I remember right, we would had to raise or pay a certain amount of money for that marathon and I'm not that great asking for donations and such. Seems like it was pretty expensive to do it. I am proud though of those who are able to participate though!

CrohnsChicago was going to do it a while back, so she got a nunch of information about how it works.
From what I understand, you raise money or pay x amount, not sure on the total and they provide you with several weeks of group training and you run the race as a group (team?) the video that the CCFA has posted said that 90+% of particpants finish the race.
I have personally set a goal to run in 2017, but I am not sure if I will be healthy enough by then

Yeah, I was going to do it, but you have to raise money to participate. Whatever you don't raise you have to pay out of your own pocket. Depending on what location you participate determines how much you have to raise which for me was a couple grand. They offer you some sort of training and support system while you get ready but I couldn't commit to that $ obligation.
