Tests Tomorrow = Prayers/Good Thoughts!!

My daughter has a MRI tomorrow and they are drawing blood for the Prometheus test. Praying for more answers!

She has been running a low grade fever for the last few days too. :-/ I'm just ready for remission.

Thank you all for the kind words!! The test was trying at first, as she had to drink three bottles of contrast in a hour. She was NOT a fan. They also took her blood to have it sent off to San Diego for the Prometheus test. Hopefully, we'll hear from the Dr by Wednesday...at least for the MRI results.

Is she still on the same meds in your signature? Have they nailed down a dx? That seems like an aggressive approach to a non-specific dx. I hope the testing yields solid answers and a clear path. Good luck!

Based on the upper Endoscopy and colonoscopy, he believes she has Crohn's. However, the biopsies didn't show granulomas, so ordered more tests for clarification. She has inflammations in two spots (terminal ileum and the rectum), and she had a baseball sized abscess as well. Since April, she has had diarrhea every single day. I believe this is why he is being aggressive with treatment. I think he's triple checking himself and my daughter to make sure she's on the correct path of treatment. Thanks for your concern. : )

Thoughts and prayers are with you! Just went through with my 17 yr old. Diagnosed with Crohn's.
