Everyone on the forum,

I haven't been on here much lately, with all the pain and problems. But, I'm going in tomorrow, for a small bowel resection. I've read many posts about surgeries and what to expect, take, ect. Thanks for all the information on here, it's so nice to know you are not alone. I have been in a major flare since the summer and I hope this will resolve that.

It's Sunday night and the surgery went very well. I got an epidural block before the surgery, it's was great until the bag ran out of the meds today, when nurse didn't notice, then I got to find out what I was missing, PAIN, big time!!
Thank god for the epidural pain meds.

The Dr. said I had a 12 inch piece of bowel that he did strictureplasty on. Two other smaller places in the bowel near by that he did the same. He said he also cleaned the scar tissue out of it all! Woo Hoo, I can hardly wait to eat again and not have pain!!! I'm very sick of blended food and rice.

I was very scared about this, and everyone prayers and thoughts gave me comfort. Thanks again, I love you all!!
