The diet that worked for me

Hi guys, in case you haven't read my article on how I healed please do so and click on my blog link on my signature at the bottom of this post

I have had quite a few people on this forum asking for my diet so here is a word document attached with a 3 week record of the diet that I maintained for many months.

Please keep in mind that different diets work for different people and diet is only one of many parts to the healing process.

Good luck

As a person interested in diets, I am curious...what is it about your diet that made it work for you? What were you adding or taking away from your standard diet?

It seems like a good bit of wheat products, which are often a trigger so I am surprised by that, but like you said....different diets work for different people :)

With the wheat products I used brown rice only, grain bread (no white bread), rice noodles and kept pasta to a minimum. I used to eat a lot of pasta, white bread and instant white rice.

I have ceased the diet for almost 5 years now as I have not had any symptoms. I am only going by memory and what I have documented.

I only ate chicken without skin. Skinless chicken breast is good, not barbecued or microwaved. Thigh and wings are too fatty but I loved my thighs so I still ate it but only on occasion.

With fruits I ate much less of anything citrus and not as much fruit as I used to. I ate heaps of vegies...Spinach, lentils, lettuce, heaps of broccoli, bok choy, asparagus, cauli flower, peas. Not too much carrot or pumpkin. I ate less corn or potatoes.
Much less coffee, no diet pop, no soda's or soft drink in any form. I ate much less processed foods or drinks. I drank much less juices, especially bought juices. I used to make fresh Apple and celery juice with a bit of carrot sometimes.

much less dairy, much less sugar, much more steamed brown rice , much more vegetable soup especially in the morning for breakfast, much less cereal if at all, no spicy foods, no rich sauces, keep fatty foods as close to zero as possible which includes eating chicken without skin, Nothing cold including no cold water. absolutely no alcohol or cigarettes of course

what is it about your diet that made it work for you?

My healing process was not just diet, I did many things simultaneously which included many exercises for my mind, my body, my emotions and my spiritual side (not religious). I have 2 other threads that I started and I am talking about it more there if you wish to know more.

Keep well
