The Silliest Thing You've Done Today

What's the silliest thing you've found yourself doing lately?

Example: One of my new plants brought whiteflies into the house, which found a home on my guava tree. Last night, I stripped off some of its leaves, and today I have been checking the tree every hour or so for flies.

But here's the best part: I have just washed an 8 foot tree. With dish soap. I considered offering it some bark dermabrasion to accompany the cleansing treatment.

You should open a plant spa!! My wife regularly washes one of her favorite plants in the shower. I'd rather pull leaves off the drain than dog hair any day!!

I made a face at my son to get him to stop crying. He's been fussy and out of sorts all day.

I picked my daughter up from my Mom's today to find Tori had 'forgotten' her swim vest at the Y where the birthday party was she went to....SO - a drive up there to look for it (the guy on the desk was NOT helpful over the phone!).....30 minute drive, stopped at the grocery store, spent @50- on 'stuff'.......finally got home to feed the horses close to 7 and THEN cook dinner! grrrr.....if it wasn't for this field trip we would have been home by 530....

My funny thing;
I just ordered a few things online, and even though I know it won't be shipped before Monday (or maybe later) I've punched in my order number quite a few times *just in case* they happened to ship it out on a Saturday.

Silly thing I did recently was when I was ready to leave the house I was running around my apartment searching for my dog. He is 4 lbs but always visible especially when you call him, or when he hears me getting something in the kitchen. I lifted up blankets patted down more blankets to check if he was in them. I looked all over crying out his name. Rico...Rico...I finally opened my door to my apartment and he was standing right there.....Looking at me without a waggin tail and with a tilted head to the side like...What is wrong with you. How dare you close the door on me.
I thought he was right behind me when we were coming in from his walk.....I was in a rush and just ran into the house and I guess closed him out It was not a long time but I think I am loosing it!!!

I somehow punched my water bottle making it spill all over my keyboard and lap.

I made lunch this morning for everyone...packed up my daughters'...and left mine in the fridge! Thankfully hubby was coming into work today and brought mine with him....
