When I'm having steroid withdrawal or a major fatigue day, I usually don't have the attention span to read or to watch even the dumbest movie. But I recently found out that I can knit! (At least, I can knit simple things. . .)

What works for you?

On a bad day I usually lay n my couch (assuming its not a running to the washroom all day, day) and watch Netflix. Find a new series. Also reading light novels and contemplating life.

Make sure you are not anemic sickofcrohns. My son had to go on Iron pills while on Prednisone, it helped a lot with fatigue.

Glad you are knitting, I am not good enough to check out while I am knitting!

Thanks for your concern, Johnnysmom. I'm not anemic and I am on iron supplements.

I get steroids as a pre-med with my Remicade, so steroid withdrawal is a regular feature of my life.

I am tapering down and am miserable. Can't concentrate, so tired but the brain keeps going. I wish I could download my head so I could sleep.

Crohn's survivor and advocate. Humira quit on me, tried the natural route that cost me 500.00. Will stay on SCD. Currently on prednisone, waiting an approval for Remicade. 6mp is a no go as it hurt my liver and I am allergic to aspirin which rules out mesalamine. Biologics and prednisone are all I have left.
