Hi everyone, im glad to say that today while scowering the net, i found this forum.
I had crohns disease diagnosed in january 2010, when i became very ill and was told for years that i had ibs.
This resulted in me having a total colectomy and a permenant ileostomy. I found this all very tramatic and had to stay in hospital for 2 months as i had complications with absesses, and couldnt eat.
~However, although im not cured, im much better than i was. I am currently relapsing however and am having to go on steroids and imunosupressing medication.
My question to you guys is....... how can i loose weight whilst having crohns disease, and have any of you who have an iliostomy or colostomy ever had any ulcers come up on it?

Hi Tina and welcome! I don't have any experience with a stoma, but as Joan suggested, you should check out the stoma sub-forum. I bet you'll get a lot of responses to your questions in there.
