Hi. I hope this post finds everyone in good spirits, or at least okay spirits. My name is Jesi, mother of 2, 27 years old, and dying. Or so it seems...

My problems with pain started during my last pregnancy. I was ultimately put into pain management until I delivered. They though I would be fine. Wrong. Every single day for the past two years I have been in constant pain in my abdomen and pelvic regions. I havr seen 5 GIs, three GYNs, rheumatologist, GP, and probably over 20 ER docs. I always complained of severe abdominal pain. My CTs were normal, except for a portion of my small bowel which they say always looks inflamed. I have been labeled a drug seeker, and hypochondriac. Seen psych doctors and therapists. Now I am sick to the point of being bed ridden most of the time. In two months I have lost 36 pounds. Most of the time I have very bloody, mucus stool and some of the most severe abdominal pain I have ever experienced. And I have delivered naturally. :) The doctors think I am crazy and refuse tosee me and test me. I have been written off because I complained of constant pain. I did research and came across Crohns. All of my symptoms match to a T. I have been getting sicker and weaker each day, but no one will touch me. Been to the ER a billion timea begging for relief. I cant find anyone to schedule a scope for me. My WBC is always elevated, and I am always slightly anemic.

Eating is so painful, I refuse to do it.

Anyone else?

How sad for you that no one listens.
Your symptoms could add up to IBD, maybe Crohn's.
There are some good GI docs at Univ of Pennsylvania---Dr Jill Smith comes to mind as an exceptional person. Also theCleveland Clinic...etc
Is it possible for you to seek some help there?
You certainly have your hands full with the children, and my heart goes out to you.
There will be a solution for you, you need the right gastroenterologist to do the appropriate investigations and follow up.
Have you had full blood work such as CBC, ESR, CRP Vit B12 iron levels etc.
These should be done and also tests like colonoscopy, endoscopy, pill cam, CT or MRI enterography---there are many diagnostic tests to be covered depending on your GI.
It is incomprehensible that time after time on this forum people such as yourself are either neglected or inappropriately diagnosed.
There are good places to go for appropriate diagnosis.
You may like to take a look at the "doctors" section of this forum to find one who may be able to help you better.
Feel better soon
Hugs and best wishes
Trysha

It is hard to understand why a GI would not give you scopes with your ab pain and bloody stools. Keep trying to find a doctor to help. (A pillcam may be useful too given the CT results.) Have you tried liquid drinks (like Boost, Ensure)? I am thinking maybe that could help with the weight loss.
