I've been seeing the same guy now for about 4 weeks...things are progressing nicely.....so last night I dropped the bomb...I told him I have Crohns! he had no idea what it was so I had to explain it all and try not to be too graphic so as not to scare him too much......his main question was is this curable and what is my future with this disease....I told him no it isn't curable at this time....but I am under control with Remicade and diet and anti-depressants.....he seems ok with it...I got an e-mail from him this morning.....I told him I wasn't gonna open up all this info to him just to have him back away...he asurred me he wouldn't.....time will tell......but at least it's out there now and I don't feel like I'm hiding this huge secret...........

Hey Kathy,

If he's any type of guy he won't let this shitty (every pun intended) disease get in the way of what may be a beautiful relationship. Keep us all posted with how it goes - and if he starts being a gotat then let me know and I'll drag myself across the pond and open up a can of whuppass (SCOTTISH STYLE) on him!

It is great that you released "the secret" and it is now out in the open. So far things sound good, and I wish the best for you and this relationship.

You guys are too funny! Things are going very well I'm happy to say. I'm getting quite comfortable with him at his house if that tells you anything...Ruth nudge nudge wink wink.....we are both at computers thru out our work days, I've been getting upwords of 20+ emails a day from him....to cute!

Update for you all: Randy is soon to be out of the picture, he is playing games and I'm tired of it....he will e-mail me thru out the day sexy e-mails then I don't see him for a week, he says he has so much on his mind with work and he's trying to sell a home...well be that as it may he is not making any time for me/us....so I've started to see Dave......we have gone out once so far and had a great time...he calls and we are on the phone for 2 hours at a time...he owns his own commercial cleaning business he has no exwife or kids...and he seems to be really into me....so...........I'll keep you posted on the soap opera that has become my life.....lol

What's goin on??? I can't keep up missus! As my gran used to say, one door closes, another one will surely open. She was a wise old woman, my gran!

Anyway - so what's this David like? Is he cool? He sounds like a catch! Glad you've kicked Randy into touch (next time you see him, kick him in the crown jewels too!), he sounds like a clown. Does he even KNOW how lucky he is though that you haven't given me and Jeff (or even better, everybody on these boards!) his address - I've had a tense couple of days so the whuppass levels here in Scotland are HIGH!

I met Dave also thru an online dating service...he is 52, I'm 40...he calls me daily...to funny he called last night and says "I'm mad at you" I asked why and he said that he was so distracted thinking about me that morning that he forgot to shave!...how cute is that?!

we are getting together as soon as possible to pick up where we left off....

I'll keep you all posted.

Oh and now that I'm trying to give Randy the heave-ho he emails me daily.

I don't get him.
 
Hee hee - I'll tell you what his problem is Kathy - he's a guy!!! We're fickle beasts sometimes - and we always want what we haven't got! Tip for you though - us guys also need to be TOLD things, we deal in black and white. So....................... instead of "trying" to give Randy the Spanish Archer, just TELL HIM!

Moz - I don't know how much more black & white I could put things, I point blank told him I want to spend as much time as possible with him and I forsure want sex way more than 1x a week!!!! I don't get it! Well I'll give Dave a try...lol

Well the soap opera that is my life changes yet again. Dave is now backing away, he thinks it may not work for us because we work different hours and he may not have the time to give me.....

As for Randy......we talked for an hour last night and I told him everything I wanted to...I didn't hold anything back!! He said I should come over so I did annnnnddddd wellllll, make-up sex is AWESOME!!! So he says he will work on trusting me and spend more time with me because he doesn't want to lose me....

Ok it looks as tho Dave is totally out of the picture. I didn't hear from him after I mentioned that I want more time from someone I'm in a relationship with. Oh Well.

As for Randy, we have been getting along swimmingly. He has been much more attentive...in every way......lol:wink:

I had him over Sunday afternoon and he stayed for dinner, even my dog likes him!

But, i'm still on the dating website and I have 6 guys since Friday that are waiting for me to get back to them.....so Randy just better watch his step!! lol

Well yet another change: Dave is back in the picture. He called 4 times last night and said he really wants to give us a chance. He said he is very interested and attacted to me. So, I'm going to his house tonight so we can "talk", and I mean just talk....I told him straight away that I was not gonna sleep with him tonight!
He said he is fine with that, he just wants to spend some time with me. He is still concerned that we work different hours and he may not have enough time for me so I suggested, kidding, that i'll quit my job-move in with him and we will get married and he will support me-he said, ya good idea we'll talk about it! AHHH

I don't know what i'll do about Randy if things end up working out with Dave...

Help!!!! Why am I so fickle?!

Don't let this stop being fun for you! If you have have crohns I'm guessing that you've had tough times - so enjoy yourself! Keep these two guys hanging on, be in control of them, you tell THEM what's happening (guys love that!), and try and keep it light! If they get too intense - back away. For want of a better phrase, they'll be GAGGING on it!

As if things weren't crazy enough....

Went to Dave's house last night with in about 10 minutes we were naked! Ahhh, I swore I wasn't gonna do that!!!! Oh well, it was well worth it....2 hours long worth it....heeheehee

Things look good so far with Dave, he called me last night to make sure I got home safely, he sent me an e-mail first thing this moring, he's gonna call tonight and I'll see where it goes.

Now about Randy, I think I'm gonna give him the ol'heave-ho for sure now. I'm not gonna tell him theres someone else, i'll just tell him it's not working for me.

Eee gads....i've not had to do this before....plus he still have a glass plate of mine and a ceramic dish that I sent him home with left-overs in...oh well, I can always get new stuff.

Well tonight Dave and I are going out for ice cream then back to his house to "talk" (ya right). HeeHee (I'm still sore, ouch, from Tuesday night)

As for Randy, I haven't talked to him in 3 days now, so maybe I won't have to get rid of him - he will just fade away............

update

Had a great time with Dave last night! We went to Culvers for icecream, I had mint in honor of St. Patrick's Day...He got a fish sandwich and a strawberry shake....exciting huh?....lol.....then it was back to his house for a while...to talk...we decided to be exclusive, so I am officially his girlfriend, Yeah!...he is coming over to my place this weekend, will most likely meet my son (if he's home, he's 20 by the way).

I've been talking with Randy via e-mail over the last 2 days letting him know i'm moving on....so far so good, he's not happy but he doesn't blame me, he knows he was not treating me the way you should treat a someone in a new
relationship.

Hope you all have a nice St. Patrick's Day! I'm near Milwaukee - also known as Brew City, we started celebrating last Saturday, the bars open at 6am for St. Partick's Day here!!! We also start to celebrate tonight at 6pm because it's midnight in Ireland! Any excuse to drink green beer....lol

So its official, Dave is now you're man!!!!! lol

Glad you had a good time. We too celebrated St Patricks day but not untilo evening time. We had a babysitter for the evening and so we went out for a few drinks which actually turned into several drinks. Thats what happens when the company is good (we were out with my brother and his wife), the conversation is good and theres plenty of alcohol. Actually, I was quite drunk, haven't been drunk like that in a while. I actually wanted to go home, when usually I want to continue having fun. I very naughtily had a greasy burger too which was absolutely delicious and thankfully it didn't make me ill. So we eventually got home around 1am. Needless to say, today. . . .mothers day, I feel rather tired and a little bit sorry for myself lol
Its ok though as I have plenty of chocolates to make me feel better later on from my little devils.

Oh Ruth - happy belated Mothers Day to you! It isn't Mothers Day in the US until May 13th. Wow - you ate a burger? I haven't had a burger in over 20 years now, lucky you!

For those of you following my dating soap here is an update: Dave came over Saturday and fixed a toilet at my condo, we had to go to the hardware store for parts, I know big deal, but I haven't done these things in many many years.

Sunday we spent the day together, we went to look at new construction open houses on condo's pretended we were a married couple looking to buy, took a drive, stopped to eat...he even had a cooler in the trunk of his car with soda and bottles of water for us..awww...I told him he was sooooo considerate!!

Went back to his house for a while after the drive and played with the dogs...ya right.....lol Very nice day.

Randy called last night, we talked things over, he still wants to be friends and keep in contact.....we will see....I don't think Dave would be happy with that, I know I wouldn't if it was the other way around.

Sounds like you've had a really nice weekend! I was laid up in bed for most of the weekend with the dready lurgy - nothing serious, just fluey symptoms. I'd rather have been doing other stuff mind you!

That's wonderful news about you and Dave - you seem to be going on the right track! Be honest with Randy though sweetie - at least if your honest with him, if he does cause any problems you have a clear conscience! After that - ENJOY!!!

Quick Update

I posted a picture of Dave's dogs: Bowser and Jack in my Zoints photo album. Told my dad about Dave last night, he is very happy....Spent the evening with Dave had a great time as usuall.....

He wants us to take a picture together he got a new camera that has a remote control - cool, I'll post it when we take it......

We are planning a trip over to my sister's coffee shop this weekend so he can meet her. Sounds like it's getting serious huh? :)
 
Absolutely, it'll be a meal with the folks next, then holidaying together and virtually living in each others pockets lol

Yet More Drama

Well Dave is out of the picture......he turned out to be psycho....but now I'm talking to Bob.........we are going out to dinner Thursday...he sounds good, we shall see.....Randy keeps e-mailing me, wants to stay friends...and a guy from 3 months ago, Rodney keeps IM'ing me wants to see me.....what to do what to do....

April Update

It's been a while since I gave you all an update so here goes:

Dave is totally out of the picture, turned out to be super controlling
Bob was yuck, went on 1 date with him
Patrick, saw him twice, talk about psycho! won't be seeing him again

So, now believe it or not, I'm back with Randy.....I don't know what it is (well yes I do, wink wink) that keeps drawing us together. But I'm looking at it different this time, I'm not going to put any pressure on him what so ever. But, I'm also going to keep my options open and continue to date others, I just won't tell Randy...
 
This gets more confusing by the day lol
So you're now back with Randy, right?

Best to keep your options open, no point in rushing into things. Hope things continue to go nicely with Randy.
