Tongue Issues

Has anyone else had a burning/heated tongue sensation OR found small holes now in your tongue?

The holes aren't the whole way threw, more like divots

I had this problem when I was having a really bad flare. I didn't have holes! They were like craters. Yours may not be the same though.
If it's painful/uncomfortable give a mouth rinse called difflam a go, it has a topical anaesthetic in it
But I highly recommend corsodyl. It healed it in 2-3 weeks

Yup. Craters. I have one. It's just weird.
My whole throat and tongue have this weird heat/burning sensation too. I think my Crohn's is getting out of control

Hi alfred and welcome! I have a tongue issue, too, though a bit different from yours. When my Crohn's is acting up, my tongue swells and feels tingly. It is such an oddity. I even went to an ENT doctor, who couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Is what you are experiencing possibly ulcers? Mouth ulcers are a symptom of Crohn's.

I have also had similar things happen with my tongue and throat. Has anybody else notice eye issues during a flare? I have noticed my eyes are very sensitive to light, or even breezes/wind cuase a lot of watering. Also, night vision problems. But all seems to go away as a flare up tones down. Hasn`t completely gone away fro over a year now, as neither has the flare.

Agreed. Based upon my research, the most likely culprits are Iron, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, and/or Vitamin B12 deficiency.

Get 'em checked folks.

I've been having eye issues lately. One day, I could barely open my eyes because of it being so sensitive to light. Now, they just feel warm, maybe a bit raw. I guess it's inflammation.

I imagine I'm iron deficient, given that I'm in a flare

I don't think the eye issue is a vitamin deficiency. That is probably connected to your flare
