travel ??

Diagnosed with crohn's a year ago and still have lots to learn. This fall will be my first time to travel with the disease. We will be traveling out of the country. I've taken care of the insurance part in case I need a Dr. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to make my trip go easier. What a eat or not, extra precautions, ect. My Dr. made some suggestions but would like to hear from someone with experience. Thanks!!!

I too am going on a travel next year but I too am a little nervous as my last trip 9 years ago was great (Honeymoon) but got ill when I got back. I am alot better now and from what I can remember, some rules are: Dont drink the water or brush your teeth in it. Bottled water. Probiotics to kill bad bacteria. With food it is best if you can peel it, boiled food and dont eat process food if you can avoid it. If you can order your food it is best, displayed food if it is in ice, or very hot. Just my tid bits. What country are you going to? Just have fun and enjoy your trip!
