Travelling with contacts

Husband and I are looking to travel to England sometime this next year to visit family. We both wear monthly contact lenses and are wondering what you guys happen to use when going abroad. We're looking to be there about 2 weeks and will be limited on liquids. Do you switch to either dailies or 2 week ones? Or, would it just be easier to keep on the monthly contacts?

any if the family your visiting wear contacts or have friends who wear them ?
You could switch to a solution sold over there on a fresh pair
Wear them two weeks
Abd switch back to your usual US brand on a fresh pair when you get back maybe ????

That's an idea. Another thought is, we won't know the change date of the ones we're wearing before hand. Depending on the date, we could always just take the old ones with us until the date to throw them...
