Just when I tapered down to 5 Mg of prednisone, my gi doctor wants me to go back up to 40 mg. I've been on steroids since August! They're never gonna go away......

Have you tried any biologics or immunosuppressants? Pred is good short term but it's not a maintenance drug.

Yeah I'm on remicade And 6 - mp and some other medication s

It just sucks!!! It took me forever to drop to 5 Mg...but now I'm back up to 40 again! Tapering down made me miserable....

How long have you been on Remicade and 6mp?

I'm on my 6th remicade treatment and I've been on 6-mp for 6 months going on 7

It sounds like they aren't working. Why aren't they trying something else?

I'm not to sure I will find out in two weeks I'm also on my third c.diff infection :/
