I was just thinking, that while the meds are expensive in the UK, thanks to the NHS even if I had a part time job, I wouldn't come any where near to struggling.
However, I imagined what if my conditioned worsened and "Reasonable Adjustments" that my workplace is legally required to take stopped cutting it.
I fear a day might come where my liver/kidneys stop managing the 150mg of Azathioprine that I'm on and at that point I don't see myself holding a job, I went through a period of almost not keeping food down for three days straight.
Anyway, should this occur, which honestly probably isn't an entirely unforeseeable circumstance, has anyone ever heard of someone with Crohns disease applying for (Personal Independence Payment (PIP))?
Also just to clarify I am quiet against the idea of not working, and dislike the idea of taking money from the government inorder to do just that, but **** happens and I'd rather be a drain on the government than my parents if this situation were to arise.
