Only just seen this.
V interesting article. Thanks for the post!
Especially liked the small but important section on fatigue (Think it was 7.1) and how it can affect people's lives.

That is really interesting thank you. I am going to print off the relevant bits and take it to my next consultation.

I think I'll send this bit to the lovely ladies in the booking department who laughed and told me I could see my consultant at the end of June!

– Patients experiencing a possible relapse of their IBD should have access to specialist review within a maximum of five working days (Standard A11).

Bid - hopefully they'll listen to you now!!
I've been told I have an 18 month wait for a capsule endoscopy. Unfortunatly there was no exact time limits for this but I think I'm going to be phoning up anyhow and asking for a quicker appointment anywhere!

Really interesting. i agree with 7.1 omg the fatigue! it also states in 6 somewhere that enteral feeding is not suitable as maintenance, i've been on liquid food, with a few nibbles, for around 11 years, Whats going on here then?

This is a very interesting piece , I wish i had of seen this a couple of years ago. The one good thing is that my new GI is definetly aware of this as my consultation with him last week was like reading a section out of this. Testing was nearly text book similar. This should be made available in all doctors waiting rooms.
