Ulcers anyone?

Hello out there...

Well, I just had a EGD/Colonoscopy and was told I have a few ulcers. I'm so thrilled.

Only thing I'm terrified of is that I don't really have any pain. Anyone out there have ulcers but no pain? I'm hoping it's not something worse. Have to wait 2 weeks for biopsy results

I've felt fine and had bad test results. Physician decided I have a very "robust constitution". Surgeon quizzes me until I feel like I'm either on a game show or under arrest, he likes to be sure I'm not "concealing symptoms". I suspect if I was visiting doctors in order to avoid telling them what was wrong I would be in serious need of counselling. I'm sure you could have ulcers and not feel pain.

I had pain only when my ulcers had laced my entire colon. High pain tolerance, maybe... *shrug* Since diagnosis, I try to be a bit more in tune with my body, hopefully without being paranoid.

I'm hoping it's not cancer... but I'm sure everyone has that thought whenever they get a biopsy.

Life would be easier if we could all be robots!

I think we wouldn't be human if we never thought about cancer. Let us know when you find out the results. Hoping the best for you. :hug:
