Tina, I've had abcesses, etc AROUND my stoma, but not ON my stoma. I really think that calls for an immediate call to your stoma nurse!

hi, thankyou for your reply, ive been to the stoma nurse who has reffered me back to the consultant. Hes had a look and feels its the start of a crohns flare up
im having to go on steroids for a month and then one of the sister drugs to azithioprin. oh well tina x

Bummer!!! I'm really sorry to hear that! I'm flaring myself right now, the first since my op. Stan is getting bigger and redder.
