Hey,
So for the past 4 months I have been having trouble with my stomach. It started out with pain and blood everytime I had a bowel movement for a straight month, and acid reflux. Nothing else. I went to the doctor who did a rectal exam and said there was no problems that she could see. She did a fecal occult bleeding test which came out negative. Later down the line the blood stopped but I started to devolop pain in my lower abdomen, mainly the right side. Followed by cramps. About a month ago I had my first GI appt. and he told me to stay on a high fiber diet and miralax do to the difficulty of passing stool. So after the appointment it had been getting worse. I noticed mucus that pops up at random times as well as stool that has been in my body the whole day coming out as undigested. So I went back and had multiple stool samples for bacteria and parasites which also came back negative. I then had blood tests for my blood coagulation, celiac disease, electrolytes, and thyroid, all normal. now I have a colonoscopy scheduled for April second but until then I would like to know what this sounds like to you?

Hi Alecfree
I hope the colonoscopy will give some answers. Seems like the doctors have been doing the right thing, at least with ruling out any possible infectious causes first. If your blood work came back normal it does not mean the inside of your gut will look normal by the way.
Bowel diseases need alot of patience, even if it is hard to wait when you are not feeling right.
I have a colonoscopy scheduled 2nd April too! Good luck!

It took me over 2 years to finally be diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, it was very hard as two tests never said the same thing which was weird. I know it's difficult but you just have to persevere, if you have to give a stool sample wait until the day you have a flare up so something shows. Good luck for the colonoscopy and hopefully it will show something, fingers crossed!

And recently my eye is looking like this, I have my next GI Appointment the 16th. Does it appear jaundice to you. Please help?

Hey you stole my eye! But I don't have the curly eyelashes.
I am guessing that they also did blood work for liver enzymes? Your symptoms are also common symptoms for liver disease.
