Does anyone here get fissures as their fist symptom before the rest of the stuff such as abdominal pain and diarrhea start? from what i read most people, even here on the forum get them because of diarrhea or constipation. I get multiple on the side of my anus and they dont hurt with bm. they hurt the rest of the time though. very painful. id say they look more like ulcers than tears but my gi said they are for sure fissures. my anal area always itches first then the fissures form, thats how i know im in a flare. not much is written about fissures so i just wanted to know how everyone elses fissures start
