I had my colonoscopy, and the results came back clear, so it isn't Crohn's or UC or anything else like that. This is certainly a blessing, but I wish I wasn't back to square one.

Well, hopefully that means something much more treatable. Or maybe something that will resolve itself. Nailing down a cause can be difficult, but I think it is a good thing you have eliminated two incurable diseases.

Keep on digging. I am sure you will find the cause with time. Most of us spent a lot of time just to get the crappy news that we have some form of IBD.

I am glad that you did not get that diagnosis. You may want them to check for Giardia if they have not already done so. But symptoms should go away after a few weeks if it was Giardia.

Let us know how it all turns out.

Not sure its a parasite, I've had the symptoms since the beginning of march... only problem is, my symptoms don't fit the "classic" symptoms of anything.

Its sort of a combination or issues. I was thinking gallbladder, but food doesn't seem to affect me, then I was thinking crohn's/UC, but don't get consistent diarrhea or blood in my movements, and now i'm back to square one. So this is a very mixed blessing for me, since I just want the cause found so I can start feeling better.

I am also frustrated by the speed at which health care in Ontario moves (very slowly!), but unfortunately there is nothing I can do about that, and must keep waiting it out.

Thanks for letting me rant :)

Dr is going with a diagnosis of IBS. I'm still not convinced, but I'll have to try some drugs and see what happens
