hey everyone. i went to the specialist yesterday and i was so pleased with what i have recieved.
the doctor that i went and seen name was dr Borody and he was one of the doctors that was part of the team that cured the helibactor bacteria. he is also working very closely with the scottish doctor that is working on the immunosation agianst crohns, he told me lots of interesting stuff like where the disease originated from and how we are able to conect it. he showed me all this infrmation that no one had bothered to present to me before. he has a really great success rate on putting someone into remission in only 6 months with only a couple of tablets a day. he made his own medicine for the disease and it is expensive but worth it in the long run.
he also explanied what they found in my x rays and that was that i had a string sign of kantor. which is where my illum has only the size of a string opening. when it should be about a twenty cent peice width.
any way he only had positive things to say.
i start the medications that i need in jan which is exciting! so hopefully this is the last chrissy with crohns. i hope that every body has a nice christmas and that you all stay well for the christmas break in fact i hope you stay well all together.
love lau:ycool:

Wow! good for you! Isn't that great when you find a professional that takes the time to explain what is going on with you. Hope the meds work well for you.

Happy Holidays!

Great news. Is it possible for you to share with us some more details on his theories and the medicine he gave you? It would be nice to have an alternative to all the meds we take daily.

Yes, please share some of the other info. he discussed. Perhaps we can pass it along to our doctors or help us in our daily challenge.
