Update

Thought I would do a quick update. Andrew is still doing well apart from some tiredness. Bloods all looking good except vit D which in "insufficient", so getting a prescription for supplement. Calprotectin is 80 which is very slightly up but still quite good. Summer holidays just started today, looking forward to relaxing.
Unfortunately I am not keeping as well and I have a new respect for the kids that feel bad so often and for so long. The joy of in and out hospital for me with joint pain, back pain, sore stomach every day and nausea. That the kids on here manage to be brave and exceptional despite feeling ill is amazing to me.

Glad to hear Andrew feels well. I hope the summer break only brings relaxation and fun times! I'm sorry to hear you are having troubles! Hope you reach better health quickly! My son says the joint pain is the worst!

So far no diagnosis yet. Possible Ankylosing Spondylitis, although the agony in my stomach is taking over. Contemplating a trip to A&E tonight, although a Friday night is not the best time to go! Hopefully the pain tablets kick in soon

I am having good days and bad. Takes weeks to get tests organised and even longer to get results - very frustrating. A bit worried about how I will be on our cruise to Norway in a couple weeks. Best get good travel health insurance :ylol2:

Taking a cruise to Norway? Im norwegian, where are you going in Norway? They are ok here when it comes to Crohns, but if you have problems and need help, its best if you get a refferal from the emergency room to Lovisenberg Hospital, they have the best gastro care in Oslo.
