Hi all. I have read through a few of these posts and have noticed that a few of you ladies have this problem as well.

I have been having mouth and Vaginal ulcers on and off all year long. Along with fevers, depression and anxiety, extreme fatigue, and some stomach pain and diarrhea. I have spent about 5 weeks in the hospital since January (different occasions, same problems). I am currently on remicade since June 2012, just came off of prednisone and just started Dapsone 5 days ago. I finally went to the dermatologist as a last resort as my GI has no idea what is going on with me and why I'm having these ulcers with minimal tummy troubles.

Is this a flare of another kind?? Oh, also I have low grade fevers almost every night. They are just high enough to make me feel lousy... as if the pain from my mouth and 'down there' isn't debilitating enough. I can hardly urinate without crying and wearing jeans is almost impossible. Eating is torturous and sometimes talking even painful.

Is this all a part of Crohns? I have been tested for every STD out there. All negative. I'm just so lost and lonely. I'm so tired of feeling crappy all the time :( I know I should give the dapsone some more time to work before I lose hope. Sorry to be jumping all over the place with my entry here. I was just typing as quickly as the feelings were entering my head. Any experience, advice or feedback of any kind is much appreciated.

Poor you Paccha, been there, done that!
Remicade, and in my case Humira, decreases the ability to fight infection and can/maybe increase the risk of getting an infection, either viral, bacterial or fungal that can/maybe spread throughout the whole body cos you can't fight it, hope that makes sense!
You need to scream and shout in your docs face to take you seriously, cos having a low grade fever would be a red flag symptom, in my opinion, that you're struggling to combat something.
See the doctor, good luck xxx

Not sure if it's part of crohn's but I remember getting that a few years ago, I think it goes away on its own :)

I have gotten these fairly regularly after starting 6 mp. They crack and bleed sometimes and sting like crazy...I finally had enough and my o.b. told me it is a yeast infection. He gives me diflucan and a cream to put on it and it clears up in a couple days. Good luck!

This is a flare. You need to get your GI in touch with your Ob-gyn and have a serious discussion about uncontrolled Crohn's symptoms negatively impacting your quality of life. Seriously! Are these people dense enough to not recognize this as a big deal? Don't be afraid to let them know that you expect this to be taken seriously!
