So, this morning I went in for my 2nd remicade infussion, it went all well but it was pretty funny.

The remicade nurse gave me attitude for not returning her call the day she called. Which I just forgot to do but I called the day after. So she was in a bad mood the whole day for some reason....

Then after I finished up I had to scedual a doctors check-up just to see how everythings going. So I went to the receptionist and told her my doctor and that I need a appointment.
She told me that the soonest appointment is August 30th ( 3 weeks after my 3rd infusion ). I told her I couldnt do that because I go back to school on the 23rd. So then she precedes to give me attitude about how I need a check-up before going to school and I was like its not my fault that hes booked that long. So we then just settled on me seeing a minor doctor after a little fuss...So I took it that everyone in the office was having a bad day.

To top the day off....
I was driving home on the highway and my new car missed a gear and stalled out in the middle of traffic so I had to get out and push it to the side and have the dealship I bought it from come take it to get fixed.

Overall the remicade went great! I hope its still will work wonders for me but it was a very hectic day! hah

Doesn't seem like a very fun day. I hate when people get cranky like that. And the car thing just sounds like bad luck. Was that some kind of manufacturer's error? Sounds like they should give you money for it or something, haha... Hopefully the remicade will have you feeling great though. That'd make it worth it. :p

rocky road...

Hang in there Ethan,
Anyone can have a tough day, but it seems even easier for us with Crohn's...
between the symptoms, meds, endless appts, tests and side effects...
it's a wonder we have many good days at all!

You seem to have kept your sense of humour and positive attitude,
which can only help you endure and prevail.
Good show, man.

I get my 4th infusion of Remi in 2 weeks.
Fingers crossed that I can get into remission, I could use some easy time.

I hope you feel better soon,
hang tough,
Walt

Don't mention school yet. lol

I'm going for my third infusion of Remicade in a few weeks. The place I go only does it for Crohnies on Tuesdays which is my full class day from 9 to 3.

And always return the nurses call, remember...she sticks you with a sharp object and can give you steroids if you have a reaction. That's the last person I would want to tick off. LOL
