Vinegar could potentially help treat ulcerative colitis

This has been know for years on alternative sites, I tried it a few years back, seems
to have made me worse, when taking.
Acetic acid rectally will of course induce a mouse colitis, but orally don't believe it will
make it to the colon. That being said with IBD, who knows.

The other interesting thing about mouse/rat chemically induced colitis, is that after
taking away the chemical after colitis induction the animals can recover, where humans
do not recover from UC.

That being said these mice exposed to aluminum do not recover well.

If anything I would try red wine vinegar because of the grape polyphenols that contribute to the color.
