Walk for research (UK)

Hello all
Read in the metro the other day that there is an annual walk in Richmond Park (London) for the Colorectal Research Fund
Its on the 26.09.2010 and says its a 12k walk altho im guessin u go as far as you can and want

I live near Bristol so its quite a journey but Im seriously considering to do this.
I think it will be nice to see a large amount of people supporting it and after experiencing the illness yourself, it encourages you to support it.

wow thats fab...it is a bit of a journey but i admire you for considering to do it, thats pretty amazing.....didnt know we had such a big campaign for bowel disease, will be interesting to see the turnout and feel the support, wish i could be there but seems even further away for me....thankyou for bringing this to the forum x

Thanks for your courage, but even a few steps is worth the trip! My husband walked for crohns and colitis for me whilst I was a greeter and sold petunia's for the cause! Our chapter raised just over $12,000 woohoo! You can do it we are all behind you! Good luck!
