Warning about B-50 vitamin supplement

CNN put out a warning today that a product called B50 contains two types of steroids and it is dangerous for some individuals to take. It is from" Mira Health Products Unlimited" out of New York and is sold online and in stores.The complete name of the supplement is "Healthy Life Chemistry By Purity First B-50". Be careful you are not taking this supplement.It contains anabolic steroids (Methasterone which is a controlled substance and Dimethazine). The FDA reported it can cause muscle pain and cramps and fatigue amongst other side affects.

This appears to be the article in question. I agree with Kel that it doesn't sound conclusive - it said the results are preliminary, and only 29 reports of side effects. Still, best to err on the side of caution and not take this product if you have purchased it.

Just the fact that it contains an anabolic steroid is enough reason not to take it.

Yes, but not for the general public to take unknowingly. They could cause all kinds of unwanted side effects etc....
