Hello Kathy and :welcome: to the forum.

We have a few others here with the same symptoms as you. Constipation is a little less common, but IBD comes in all shapes and sizes.

125 pounds is a LOT to lose! Was it an intentional diet or was the disease taking you over? That's incredible!!

Once again, welcome. I hope you are able to feel like you fit in here with us.

no I just decided to take the weight off the Y.M.C.A even posted my story and I won a weight lose challenge at work but The Joy of happiness didnt last very long I am sooo discouraged and confused My specialist got upset when I was asking him too many questions so I told my doctor I want a second opionion and he told me to eat lots of insoluable fibre but when I stoped it seemed to help me alot more but now I am hearing that maybe soluable fibre is better .. thanks :)

Hello Kathy and welcome to the forum :) Firstly well done you!!! To lost 125lbs is very impressive and I admire the dedication it must have taken. It sucks that this sucess is now being blighted but hopefully this will be a small hiccup and things will get sorted. I would say it is worth checking out our diet and supplements forum as there will be lots of info about different foods foods and things to try. I am pleased you are seeking a 2nd opinion, any doc who doesn't like questions is not one you want with this disease. It is soo important to build up a good relationship with your GI and you need to feel that you can yes ask questions and be supported. I hope you can get an appt soon (bug your doc dai if you must) and let us know how you get on.

Great job losing weight! You rock!!! Yes, you definitely need a second opinion; I recommend it anytime you feel uncomfortable with a doctor-Crohn's is a tough fight, and you need to trust your doctor will listen and help.

Hang in there, and keep us posted!
