Since my surgery this is what I am experiencing. The weight loss is about 7 pounds. I wasn't a muscle man before the surgery. The loss of muscle is putting stress on my joints, particularly hips and knees. How can I alleviate this? Any info that has worked for you or if there is a post you can identify I am grateful.
I eat as much as I can and am on azathioprine 100 mg/day which is all I can tolerate

Thanks

It gets better. :)

After I had surgery I drank Carnation Instant Breakfast with extra dry milk stirred in for the protein. If you can't drink milk, there are some high protein supplements you can take, that will help you as you try to recover -
and walk - it's great exercise and won't really strain anything.
