I've had a rough few months with surgeries. I had drains put in for abscesses, resection of my terminal ileum, then complications of the resection with leakage so had to have surgery to clean out the leakage which left with with a big wound and a temporary ileostomy. I'm concerned because my weigh keeps going down. I weighted myself this morning and I'm at 95lbs. I'm eating a lot of protein and high calorie foods but keep losing weight. I'm 2 week post surgery. Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar and when the weight came back.

Have you tried any protein drink? Are you still leaking? I had an abscess back in 1992. I lost 34 pounds in 3 months. After they got it drained and got me on intravenous drugs then I started regaining weight.
