Had made the appt this past Fri when I was feeling poorly - ended up in the bathroom Fri evening probably 5-6 times at least with D.....then Sat, NOTHING....didn't eat a whole lot either, and did spend about 4 hours in the truck driving (to horse show).....
Sunday, no problems in the AM.......a small BM in the evening after I got home - 1 more today - still not todally normal, but at least no cramping!
Saw the clinic at the hosp this morning - came home with the supplies for a sample - the nurse practicioner that I saw was very nice, really took her time talking to me and about possible ways to look at this - as either a possible flare starting, or related to the rash/psoriasis I've developed...etc....she did listen to my belly and said it was quiet.......to top it off right now I'm stinky! lol.....my husband is NOT loving that part!
So - still playing the waiting game - to see what the skin biopsies come back as and what the dermatologist wants to do - that may be preednisone to get the skin under control, which would help with the bowel symptoms.....
Then, to top it off, I found out that the infusion clinic I go to is 'closing' - the NP has apparently left (she didn't say anything when I talked to her Fri!)......so now the infusion patients are going over to the dialysis clinic.....same facility, just different location - hope they have a TV! Maybe I'll bring my laptop and a movie or two just in case!
Should I start humming the tune to Jeopardy???.....waiting game.........sigh......itch, itch, itch......
