What a week!!

what a week!!

Hi everyone, well what a week!! we have kians medication sent form glasgow( 137 miles from where we live as its a small town) down to our local hospital, once a month to collect. well it didnt arrive last sat n kian ran out of his 6mp tue night!!! me being me started to panic as he has been doing well on his meds and the thought of him doing without it scared me! Anyways, Glasgow hospital tried to get it flown down but by that time it was too late ( this was last night) Eventually a lovely doctor got it to a bus station n it arrived last night at 10pm, collected by my lovely dad n delivered to my door for kian to take before bed! what a carry on but with the help of our local nurse and Glasgow team it arrived quick n safe!! i am now relaxing, stress free with a large glass of red wine.

Wow that was PDQ! They dont do that here but if you need meds we go to our local pharmacy to pick them up. Good that you were able to get it for your child. Kudo's

thank goodness, we live in a very small town on the west coast of scotland and kians consultants are 137 miles away. we fly to our appointments but yesterday we were too late to have the meds flown to us, thank goodness he got it tho. our pharmacy doesnt stock the 6mp, dont know why, maybe because its such a small community? the main think is he got it and is back on it again. xx

Holy haberdashery! Thank goodness they arrived!

I well understand the tyranny of distance and a sometimes dodgy supply of meds! Perhaps you could get onto the pharmacy and tell them he will be on them for the foreseeable future so please stock it??? I live in a small town too and usually if the pharmacy doesn't stock what I want I ask them to get it in for me and they do...maybe worth a try???
