What causes vaginal tags?

Does anyone know what causes vaginal tags? I've had them removed twice and they appear to be growing back again.

Also I now have an anal fissure. Maybe even external hemmorids. This situation is new to me. Any advice would be appreciated.

The only one of these I've had experience of is haemorrhoids. It's pretty easy for a doctor to diagnose them, especially if they're external. You wouldn't even need to a specialist. If you don't mind a doctor doing an examination, they should be able to tell you right away if it's haemorrhoids and advise you on the fissure too. There are quite a few treatments - I had surgery for them, but mine were very severe and internal, surgery isn't normally needed.

Who did you see about the vaginal tags before? I've not heard of them being related to Crohn's. If you haven't seen a gynaecologist it might be a good idea.

UnXmas, Doc verified last night that yes, the vaginal tags are growing back but she's not sure why. Guess it's time to ring up my gyn doc. The doc also verified that I have a small external hemorrhoid and that my bottom is raw. The fissure is healing nicely. I started using an over the counter triple antibiotic cream as well as an over the counter maximum strength cortisone cream as soon as I realized I had a fissure. Doc wants me to use a diaper rash ointment every time after a bm to help the area heal and protect it from further damage.
