We've got people from quite a range of countries around here, and I thought it'd be interesting to see what kind of figures there are for each country.

Poll: What country do you call home? This may or may not be where you're currently living

Sorry I can't list everywhere, but think most of the popular ones are covered, please post if your choice wasn't listed :)

I love my country of wales, I live in a city called Newport and although I love travelling to other parts of the world that are beautiful, I still like coming home to wales !!!! Arhhhhhhh xx

Canada. I love traveling, but wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

I live in the US. Have been to the Carribean and drove through a bit of Canada (not enough really to count as a visit). Would love to travel to Europe some day. My in-laws took my stepson some years back, I was so jealous. I think I will wait until my kids are older so they can understand and appreciate the trip more.

Canada! Unfortunately Canada has the highest incidence of Crohns per capita...niice. WE also just recently became the highest in the fattiest zone...:yfaint:

I thought for the fattiest that America was up there lol. I cannot stand the commercial on the radio "America runs on Dunkin" then the next one will be for a doctor that does plastic surgery or body sculpting makeovers. I would hope america does not run on Dunkin Donuts that would be sad!

I live in New York (not the city) in a cute little town that is very peaceful on Long island.

We is a smaller country  I am sure US is right there too.:ywow: I hear that commerical too once in blue moon on US stations. Type 2 diabetes will become an epidemic and people growing up in this generation will not live to see their 70th birthday. Drew Carey (Price is right) had Type two diabetes and lost 80 lbs and no longer has it. In Canada, your doctors are being told if you smoke or obese, and dont do anything about it you are on the bottom of the list and they wont treat you. It is overloading our medical system.

I am not skinny either but not obese, I have been seeing that lately and I dont need another disease.

Yes folks that's happening in my home town of Newport and I live literally two minutes from the Celtic manor where it's being held
Yes my tiny teeny town is having our fifteen minutes of fame. !!! Lol !!!!!

Melbourne, Australia, lived in Europe for a while and have travelled alot, seen most of the world. Husband is American and gotta say, there's no place like home.

Lola

South Africa! Only black sheep on here that lives in the scariest country in the world!

Texas, USA this is home and where I was born, but I lived away for 20 years in Florida, New York, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, and now back in Texas till I'm 6 ft under. Hope that's not real soon tho. We say y'all here and eat lots of BBQ.

I've been to cities that never close down
From New York to Rio and old London town
But no matter how far or how wide i roam
I still call Australia home.

I'm always traveling I love being free
And so i keep leaving the sun and the sea
But my heart lies waiting over the foam
I still call Australia home

All the sons and daughters spinning 'round the world
Away from their family and friends
But as the world gets older and colder
It's good to know where your journey ends

And someday we'll all be together once more
When all of the ships come back to the shore
I'll realize something i've always known
I still call australia home

But no matter how far or wide I roam
I still call australia home,

I still love that song, and it's even better when you perform it overseas, it's just a pity Qantas has kinda stolen it. But who am I to complain, we got a couple of free flights just because we had a medley including it in our repertoire :) and I love the fact Grant Doyle's medley merged it in to "[Give me a] home among the gum trees"

I was born and raised in North Carolina in a small redneck town, but now I call Washington State home.

Born in NZ -live in Australia
Am i NZ or Australian ? - well Im actually both (dual)
There is no place like where you are born - that will always be my home however Australia is where I will live and would have no other way. :)

Suburbs of Vancouver. Love it here and dont plan on ever moving more than an hour either direction. I am desperately trying to save for an Austrailia trip to visit family and see everything there.

Pen is right too when she said your at the bottom on the totem poll if you dont take care of yourself here. My dad was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes one year ago almost to the day. Since he has gone to the gym religiously 6 days a week and lost close to 100 lbs an now gaining muscle again. Hes a big guy but its no longer fat. He is more disciplined with diet and fitness than I am with crohns its unreal.

I live in the US. I live right outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. I enjoy that Indy has all 4 seasons equally.

This banner below pretty much sums me up lol since I'm from North Carolina. I do miss some parts of living the podunk life but there's plenty of that in the rural areas here in Washington.

I lived in Brisbane, Australia last year for 6 months and would love one day to call that home, but right now, Cardiff is home, and will always have a place in my heart wherever I may eventualy settle.

I live in the UK. Home of the glorious NHS. With a condition like ours there is really no other place to be!! Free from point of access. Bloody fantastic!!
