What food & candy can you NOT even eat one bite?

Where do I start?

Milk
Vegetables
Red meat
Nuts
Chocolate
Wheat
...

Quite frankly if it's not instant mash, grilled fish or soya milk its not on the menu...

i dunno for sure anymore.

it's been inconsistent...

though i think certain chinese foods may set me off, but i'm not 100% sure since i've been avoiding it ever since i made the realization that quite a few times i've had obstruction symptoms, chinese food seems to be the common food factor.

also, pop seems to cause some issues.

beef, if it's not tender or ground up.

and fried foods in general make my stomach swell up like a blimp (i.e. fried chicken, potato wedges any fried battered foods)

Mine is less of a what and more of a how much and how fast! I have a stricture and so everything complains if I eat too much too fast. Haven't figured out any specific triggers as yet.

yes me too! i've noticed if i eat really quickly and i'm not careful to chew up the food really well, it could cause my stomach to bloat, then cramp and sometimes i end up vomiting. good ol' stricture reminding me not to over do it lol

red sauce kills me! one bite of ice cream, and i'm bloated. there are certain cookies, one bite gives me a stomach ache. i don't know what it is with the cookies.

most really sweet candies, like starburst or airheads, now and laters. almost all chocolate, but i eat the chocolate anyway.

i guess, pretty much all sweets. it's a bummer.

Apparently anything with Soy protein in it. I am still in denial about this and try something every once in a while to reconfirm it in my mind. Do you know how hard it is to find something liquid to drink with some protein in it without soy? It makes me nuts.

Whey protein isolate, and it tastes better. :)

Soy Free (males should watch soy intake) and many great brands and availability is quite good too, even Walmart or Target have powders or drinks.

I know that everyone is different on what they can tolerate, but here are some things I stay away from.
-Seeds
-Ham
-Fried foods
-Nuts
-Fast foods
-Salads
-Raw vegetables
-Pizza
-corn
-Most fruits
-Tough or fatty red meats
-pork (although if I eat ribs they are the really really soft kind when I cheat... that once n a while having ribs/oh I do pay with great pain and sickness after/Thank god I dont do it often!)

These are some of the things that help when I stay away from them.

I think I would crawl on my knees through a pile of ants and gravel for a Dr. Pepper.
Hence too much acid, but the #1 vice in my life. haha

BACON (SOB) curry and pretty much any fresh cream desert - although dont get pain with deserts just doesnt stay in tummy long enough to leave the restaurant!

I've had Crohns for 15 years and I still have no idea what (if any) foods bother me.

Chocolate. :( The richer it is the worse it is. I used to love Hershey's Special Dark's and now I can't even stomach one bite. It makes me feel nauseous, like I'm bout to puke. I can tolerate chocolate cake, long as it isn't too rich, but can't stomach chocolate icing.

Though, if I get drunk first and deaden some of the taste buds and such I can eat a brownie.

It might in part have something to do with my crazy powerful taste buds, but not sure what else coulda caused it (blame it on the crohn's) because I used to love chocolate.

I can't say I can't eat even one bite of corn/cornmeal products because I can usually eat one piece of popcorn or one Dorito, but who the heck just wants to eat one?! I did a happy dance a while back when we went to the movies and I helped eat a whole bag of movie popcorn and didn't have any pain after. It was a fluke, but a happy one.

Popcorn
Corn
Nuts/Seeds of any kind
Cabbage
Most raw veggies
French Onion Soup
Skins/roughage from various fruits. Outside of bananas I stick to canned fruit.
Seems tomato based sauces/pasta sauce is giving me problems lately
Rubios secret sauce with their fish tacos
Milk

I am sure there are more, those are the real heavy hitters that do me in. I had something on Friday that made me really ill on Friday night with a bad fever but have not been able to pin-pont it.

All candy except those with nuts is fine with me, luckily because I live off of candy.

oh man,

milk,
sesame seads,
peanuts,
grainy bread,
mini wheats,
chili,
bananas (they really stop me up),
granola bars with nuts in them,
the oat and honey hard granola stick/waifer bars,
coffee,
...there's more but i can't think of it right now. the ones i def. never EVER eat tho are milk and sesame seeds. if i would, i'd be sick for days.

and popcorn. but that pretty much applies to everyone with crohn's i think. but when i really really need it, i'll have a little kettle corn. it is SO good.

Oysters
Mussels
Foods with artificial "smoked" flavour such as soy/hot dogs.
Raw "dipping" veggies especially broccoli
Peanuts
Milk
Dark chocolate

Nothing so far, though since diagnosis my diest has been extremely uninventive and I eat a lot of the same things over and over - still relatively low residue. I'm hoping it stays that way for some time so I can pretty much eat what i want but am voiding certain things by recommendation such as seeds and rough stuff.
