Hi!!! I'll keep it short, Just wondering what helps you through harder times (surgeries, flare ups, etc.) What are you thankful for???:)

This is a sweet thread! I've had to remind myself to count my blessing when things are going so well for me. This is what I remember to be thankful for: my family, my children (they are both miracle babies), to live in such a beautiful state, for modern medicine, to have a nice home, and to have a good job. When I think about these gifts/blessings, sometimes I get ashamed for grumbling or feeling whiny.

That my Canucks are in the Stanley Cup Finals :) :) :)

Well I love sports, thank god I have a good family, my girlfriend (think she might read this???), and knowing that as much as I hate colonscopies and the prep work before them that I can eat all the Mcdonalds I want just before I start it.

Modern medicine, family, the Qu'ran, and secrets. Ohh, and food and music and artsy stuff. And God. And white rice and water...

My Teddy Bears, Jack and Jessie dogs - how can you be a grump when you get accosted with a cold wet nose and a face begging for fuss, walking - bit tricky at the mo since my lower leg is in a cast until 4th july because I broke my foot, drugs (prescription!).
Oh and Hubby! :)

My husband. He is my best friend, my support, and my biggest fan. Unfortunately he is 7000 miles away so I've been feeling all sorry for myself lately.

Thanks andigirl! Thanksp I'm sorry your husband is so far away that must be hard! Sorry about your foot Beth get well soon!
(I forgot to tell everyone what im thankful for!)So here it is. I am thankful for my family, my pets, my best friend, and right now air conditioning!

Andigirl - thanks for that! You're so right!

My partner gets me thru the tough times! I'm very blessed!

My husband has never given up on me and is always positive, patient and sympathetic. I know God loves me because he gave me a strong loving man, knowing I would need someone. Now we have 2 beautiful children and I live everyday praying I feel better soon so I can be the mom and wife they deserve. Good thread It's nice to see what makes everyone fight to get better. :ghug:
