Because it is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, I thought that I would start a thread about what we are thankful for.

...the fact that I get to eat solid food for dinner today. This past Christmas I was on a liquid formula, so I couldn't eat the dinner that my family helped me to create. When we sat down at the table I discovered that my daughter had created a beautiful dinner out of construction and tissue paper complete with red tissue paper wine and a sliver mixing bowl lid at my place setting. It was wonderful to be included this way.

This time around I'll be intensely inhaling the scent of all the foods as there are many that I still cannot eat; however, I'll be grateful that I get to celebrate the day with my family and that I can eat the foods that I can.

I have alot to be thankful for. I have an amazing husband that treats me like a queen and is there for me at every turn, he tries to make my life better in all ways. He is a rare one at that. I don't have to work so I am happy since I can't get into remission but I am doable.

I have a truly gifted Daughter, who is like my hero, and is studying in the medical field.

My mom is healthy and doning well. Have two great dogs and a CAT...Yes Joan I have a cat lol.

Even though I have this damn disease I try not to let it get the best of me.

Have a great dinner everyone and hope it goes through. What the fats, hard to digest and take digestive enzymes.. Well getting ready for the KEG dinner yum.... just me and my daughter. Hubby is working ;) to pay for it

Happy Thanksgiving ya'll !!!!!!
