I love perfume and have a huge collection of them

My favourite is Chance by Chanel

I've worn Cool Water for Women for years...it's not too overpowering and smells very fresh.

the bottle i am into right now is 'pur desir de lilas'... smells like fresh lilacs!! in a few weeks, we will have the real ones to smell... but i get to smell like lilacs all year round. i also like contradiction by c. klein.

of course, with a hint of poo... ;) you're too funny, cindy.

Ha Ha Ha
I like CK one - with a hint of poo!

and I like all of yours Rob

@Chris...au naturel, with a hint of poo? lol

Pretty much. I bath, so I figure that is enough.

We also have a cat with Asthma so we don't keep anything strong smelling around, scented detergents, cleaners, etc.

I wear gaultier2 and ive had a fairt few women tell me it smells very nice :) .. tho i think its branded as a uni sex smelly and it is pretty nice

I hate the candy smelly stuff that women wear.. very sickly

Jean Paul - gautier is avail for men an women

I got that and the limited edition summer one both nice an yep always get comments on it hehe

A chemist near me closed down last year
and sold off all there stock cheap

so I was able buy bottles normally worth $150 here for $10- $20
I went nuts lol
so now I got a big selection , some I don't even know what they smell like lmao

lol I was scouting to see if you ladies were dropping hints on what you like us guys to wear. Not going to be that easy I guess.

I like to use Axe shower gel when I can slide it into the shopping cart without getting caught. Snake Peel is my favorite and I don't know if the fragrance lasts as long as aftershave but it seems to accomplish the same thing.

favorite old commercial took me an hour to find.

And this one is just toooooo funny!

My bf uses the Axe Vice shower gel..and it's amazing!! I could smell him all day!! He doesn't wear aftershave or cologne.

Stenson's body spray for men and Old Spice w/ a hint of oh sh&t.

When I run out of the first 2 I just use the last one till Janis gets sick of it and gets me more of the other. lol

Don't wear any, girlfriend does not wear any. Don't particularly care for it.

I really have to agree with that. I remember a place I used to work, there was a woman who would be in my area occasionally, I don't know what she wore, but I actually called in sick one time when I knew she would be there to avoid it. Another time, my wife and I were eating in a very expensive restaurant in LA and asked to be moved when some woman came in reeking of something or other and sat at the table next to us. I prefer my air to be smell-less :)

I'm allergic to 95% of them. They make it hard for me to breathe. Its hard at times to walk down the detergent isle when shopping.

You're grumpy!

Maybe, but it has nothing to do with this.

I'd just prefer not to have the air I need to inhale in order to survive to be "flavored" by an odor of someone else's choosing. Consider my restaurant experience, for example. Suppose if instead of walking in wearing an overbearing perfume, the woman had walked in and announced:

"Everyone! ATTENTION! Thank you. I prefer my water to taste like boiled cabbage. It's part of my "identity". Therefore, I am going to go around the dining room and put "Essence de Boiled Cabbage" into everyone's glass of water, wine, beer, coffee, what have you! YOU'RE WELCOME!!!"

If anything, an annoying scent is worse, since you have to breathe.

Some scents are more annoying than others, and some people, for whatever reason, seem to be less able to apply them with "restraint". But there have been cases (like the 2 I mentioned) where I'd have almost preferred to have someone sit down & fire up a Marlboro next to me than some of the colognes I've smelled. I've known a LOT of people who agree. And I only find them irritating, some others actually are sickened by them (like DanM, apparently).

Which I'm sure DOES make them pretty grumpy... :(

Yes Dave

I do agree! some perfumes are overwhelming, and some people put loads on cos they cant be arsed to have a wash, which just exacerbates it even more!
I know, I work with one such woman, she stinks to high heaven and leaves a trail of cheap scent and BO wherever she goes! It makes me gag!

oh a do have a few drops of Brut33 left. I don't know if they still sell the stuff but I keep it around for nostalgias sake.

I have a huge collection, I love Escada (pretty much all of their scents), the newest Channel, pink sugar by Auquolina but my most favorite is Ferrie by VanCleef & Arpels, it's too die for, if you haven't smelled it you absolutely must, it's 145.00 for 50ml but worth it (especially when you use your shoppers drugmart points and only have to pay the GST on it, that's how I got mine)...I have too many to list, britney spears, vera wang, calvin klein, ect.

I have more than enough for my points but waiting for the week you spend $200.00 bucks and get it all free :ycool:

Ah yes, Redemption days, I spent my 75,000 points to get my Ferrie perfume (for 145.00 so sis grabbed me a handcream for 5 bucks so I didn't lose any of my redemption amount) but it wasn't on a "special" redemption day so I didn't get the extra 75.00 for cashing in 75 thousand points but that's okay, I'm almost at that point level again anyways...plus my sister picked up my Ferrie perfume from Murale (a fairly new drugstore that also takes shoppers optimum cards, but I don't think they do the "special" redemption days, just regular redemption whenever you want to).

Pleasures for men
Aqua Di Gio

SO glad one of the guys said Aqua di Gio. My fave men's cologne.

My favorite girly scents:

Burberry Brit (for night out)
DKNY Be Delicious (for every day)
various body sprays for work--VS Naturals Acai Berry and Magnolia, Endless Love

:)

I keep a drop of Arden Beauty around for nostalgia.. I wore it through college.

Now my main one is Hugo Woman. I like it a lot but I'm about to run out (suck)

Others I have samples of and love are:
Ted Baker X20, Givenchy Irresistible and.... wait for it....

DEWBERRY!!!! From the Bodyshop. Reminds me of being 12 when they did perfume sticks. I loved that range. Made me sad when they took it off the shelves but then last year I found the perfume oil bottle. Made me so happy.

Aaah, nostalgia.

When I was 9 my French Teacher had perfume that smelled like cucumbers!

And my mum always had Anais Anais... now she has J'adore Dior.
