I've been having diarrhea for a year now with varying degrees, but always diarrhea. Usually 5 times a day, sometimes blood sometimes not. Some days I just feel like hell. Fatigued and just a deathy feeling, is how I can best describe it.

Lately I've been feeling this way more and more and I'm pretty upset about it. I wish I knew why I felt this way. Is it malnutrition, or blood or what?

Does anyone else feel this way? Is this a common Crohns feeling/symptom? Anyone just always like this? No relief?

With the blood, there is a possibility that it could be IBD. You may be anemic which would cause the fatigue. I would go to the doctor if you have not already.

I was like that for a few years just felt like crap weak and moody and after humira was ok like a silly person after about 3 months of actually getting somewhere I went off it and my doc agreed without even suggesting to stay on it even with the side effects my bowels were really good.

I know this isn't for everyone but maybe try some Medicinal marijuana I know when I feel poorly and have a vape I instantly feel better and energy comes back aswell.

I know diarrhea/ dehydration can make you feel like hell. Having it every day for a year will def. wear on you! I remember one period when I was having diarrhea every day and then went on prednisone and didn't have it for the first time in forever and I felt completely rejuvenated. Although prednisone side effects suck it stops my diarrhea and makes me feel brand new in terms of energy, a nice change. Coconut water is good to drink when you have diarrhea because it has a lot of natural electrolytes. I also agree with ozboz about the weed. It can drastically change your mood. Hope you're feeling better soon

I have come to the conclusion that feeling like sh*t is now normal for me. I find that for me, dehydration is my enemy and that a sports drink with electrolytes seems to pep me up a bit.

After past surgery, I am always having diarrhoea about 5 to 8 times a day and that does really get me down too. This all seems to cause extreme fatigue and light headedness mostly up until early afternoon by which time I start to feel a bit better

I think it might be dehydration issues. Even before any real dehydration sets in, maybe Im just feeling the initial symptoms of impending dehydration and start to feel like hell. I keep a half-ass food diary. I dont input water in it. Perhaps Ill implement that.

Furthermore, Im starting to think that the amount of sleep i get (which I also dont really track) might be a trigger. Another thing I should document and observe I guess.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions and help.

When I have felt completely exhausted and lack motivation to do anything it's been anemia. Have you checked your hemoglobin/hematocrit recently?
