When will double dose of remicade work

I had my first double dose of remicade at 6 week intervals yesterday and judging by how im feeling today im guessing it will take a while to work. ive been on remicade since sep '12 and had some success at the start up until xmas. then it gradually started to get less and less effective. the last infusion got rid of the blood but all other symptoms were present and after 2 weeks the blood was back.
I have refractory ulcerative colitis and I have learned to be patient with meds and give them a good try before I loose faith!!lol
just wondering has any of y'all been in the same boat and when did you see an improvement.
ps im also on 50mg of 6mp.

If the medication started to poop out on you why did your doctors put you back on it?

hi nonuts,
I was never taken of remicade. as I said I have been on it since sep'13. Thursday was my 1st double dose. before that I was on 5mg per 1kg.
