Hey guys,

So I went from doing really well on LDN to full full flare and not able to leave the house in about 2 days. Not fun.

New job that I'm worried about so a little desperate.

Living in BC MJ is easier to get than 'real' drugs so I made a couple of phone calls.

1.5 joints and less than 24 hours later everything seems much, much better. Can it really make that much of a difference that quickly?

I ordered a vaporizer...

MMJ acts very quickly and cannabinoids being liposoluble will store themselves in your fat and then be released in your bloodstream in small quantities for some time after you inhaled or ingested the first dose, so it's normal you still feel the effects even after 24h even though the actual high is long gone.

Chronic use of vaporizing cannabis without ANY other medication and any diet change took me from a flaring pancolitis with daily blood and 12 stools a day into asymptomatic land.

It's pretty extraordinary. I had better results when I made my own oil or ate daily doses in capsules or edibles form, but I ran out. I got a harvest coming on Christmas morning, so I'll be making myself more capsules.

Inhaling = great for treating symptoms because the effects are near instantaneous
Eating = great for treating the disease

You're a lucky ******* to be in BC. They have CBD rich strains there. Find them!

I'm all over it! Glad to hear I'm not just making this up. Wondering why I didn't go for this years ago.

The search for CBD is on!

It does work that quickly. My experience is very similar to FrancisK7...meds never worked but vaporizing every day has kept me completely symptom free. I wish more Colitis/Crohns patients could give this stuff a try without legal repercussions.

Well I'm not upset about this at all. I can't believe how crazy quickly that worked.

The fact that there's actually research and other people know this works is blowing me away.

I ate more yesterday than the previous 4 days combined and I feel great.

I got a flu which messed me up big time last week but I've got a substantial delivery en route today and I shall report back if it's as effective as my first foray.

This should be enough to properly recreate the Israelis study (minus the tobacco...). I will vape it if I am home and smoke if I am not and ill try and remember to report back in February if anyone is interested.

MM Update:

Got my card here in B.C. and whoa, quite the difference between street stuff and medical stuff.

First try and I use half of what I normally would. Sour Diesel, Tribal Afghani, Watermelon and Rockstar on the menu.

Sour Diesel is suppose to be 70/30 sativa and I am fairly certain that I've only ever tried Indica so I gave it a go and judging by my alertness this is a whole different ball game. I can maybe get away with smoking more often if it's this sort of high.

The Tribal is suppose to be great for digestive issues. I'll report back if it's as advertised.

They have high-CBD Cannatonic too. I have to wait a few months before I can try edibles but when I get around to it that's what I'll go for.

Specific strains aside, I continue to find the MM very helpful physically, as well as mentally.

I found higher sativa was good for the days, and indica for the nights. The components that help a great deal are found in higher quantities in an indica based strain, however they also tend to make you not want to move.

When you try the edibles, make plans to not need to leave the house for a day or so. Depending on what I ate it would take between 15-30 minutes to start kicking in, and usually stayed with me for 12 hours, but the length of time might be specific to me, I don't know anyone who eats it on a regular basis.
