So I've been waiting and wondering why things are feeling so unusual.
I've basically moved into the hospital since April.
The Doctors have diagnosed me with Crohn's and started treating me because I was so symptomatic. Everywhere I told them I had pain something showed up.
From ulcers, to gastritis, and colitis.
Being in and out of the hospital isn't cool.
Now I have a UTI and they are saying that is the reason why my SED rate has been elevated but my OBGYN says that infection can not affect my SED rate because they are two different things all together.
My SED rate is now at 91 and it was at a mere 21 earlier this week.
They checked my kidneys, liver, gaulbladder, appendix, EVERYTHING.
Nothing else has showed up.
They did an MRI and that showed my small intestine had mild inflammation but I did not drink the contrast so the ultrasound technician told me that it can have more than just that.
But the doctors have no idea what to do and i feel rather hopeless right now.
I have so many different pains and I cannot put any food near my mouth or else I will either vomit or get severe bloody diarrhea.
Someone help me :(

My best friend in high school has the same name as you. :)

I am so sorry that you are having such a crappy time. I wish I could help you to feel better. This disease sucks so much. Be strong, because this will pass and you'll get better. I only pray that it will be soon.

Is there any food at all that you can eat? Are you staying hydrated at least?

Hang in there and know that you are not alone. Just be strong and patient. *big hugs*

Hi jesse, no there is no food i can eat. nothing at all not even drink. Even my medicines i can't intake.
I am staying hydrated with tpn liquids intravenously.
I am hoping to get some answers soon :(

Hi Susie! I'm sorry that you are feeling so sick. If I'm understanding correctly, you were diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, gastritis, and colitis. That sounds like a very painful combination. Are the doctors planning on treating your CD with steriods, Remicade, or Humira? Are you going to have a resection (surgery to remove diseased intestine)? It sounds like the doctors are trying to make you comfortable, but have they shared a treatment plan with you? I am thankful that you are receiving help in the hospital; not being able to eat, severe vomiting, and diarrhea are all serious things. Please don't give up hope. I'll keep you in my prayers, sweetie. Hugs to you.
