Hello,

I registered here because my husband has Crohns. I thought this would be a good place for me to help him out if we have any question and share our experiences. I met him after his surgery so I don't know all the technical medical terms as much as most of you. I have read up on it as much as I could online and I go with him to all his doctor appointments.

Anyway, I'm glad there are forums around to help.

Hi,

I joined today and recently diagnosed with diffuse mild to moderate Chron's colitis. My GI prescribed me ASACOL 400 mg 6 tablets a day.

After using these tablets for 3.5 weeks, I started getting abdominal pain which I never experience before. My GI told me stop ASACOL for one week and see what happens.

Anyone knows/experienced similar symptoms with ASACOL. Thank you for the help!
