Hi everyone, just wanting to vent alittle. I'm so tired of my monthly's interfering with almost everything. It seems that everytime i have to do urine test or take antibiotics, they seem to come and make it worse. Yesterday i seen a urologist and he did a scope of bladder. Today of all things i feel to have a bm but i'm not supposted to strain, so i get some out and strain slightly and notice a little blood come out of vagina so i stop and now i could feel like the stool is right at tip of rectum. To top that off,i'm due for my monthly's and i will get mixed up with the blood, either being period or from the procedure. Now its the weekend and the dr. i seen is 3 hrs. away. I hope i heal. This just gets me so mad, i'm sitting here with stool sitting at end of rectum. I still have some pain from procedure, not bad, but now i'll certainly be getting my period pain. I quess what to look out for is if my pain gets really bad, but then my p's could be bad also. And to look out for a fever. This just sucks.

Have you thought about going on the pill to regulate your periods? I take 2 packs together so I have a bleed every 7th week. I always know when I will be on and it can be very handy, as well as freeing me from a monthly period.

Have you thought about trying Implanon? It's a little rod that is inserted and left in your arm and acts just like the pill except you don't have to remember to do anything about it and it lasts for three years. For some women, like me, it has completely stopped my period (which is perfectly ok as they will start again once you have the rod removed). I find that it has helped me a lot not having to worry about my periods and all the crohns problems
