So I'm a cronic worrier and stresser. The moment I feel something is wrong, I freak out, which then escalates because I'm not sure if that's causing me even MORE problems. I'm 21 turning 22, male, eat a healthy diet however does sit a lot playing video games.

For a few days now I've had a lot of gas. Some dull pains in my abdominal area that come and go, that sort of thing. I've always passed this off as stress, as Doc.Google suggests.

My stools have been a natural color, or at least I think. A light brown with a hint of yellow. No signs of blood, but little black specs (I've passed this off as chia seed, which I usually eat on a morning)

As of today however I saw something that concerned me. I had to take a bowel movement - which I knew it was diarrhea from the feeling i got so I rushed to the toilet - the diarrhea came out rather yellow, soft bits...but sort of looks weird. It almost looked like it had a tan-ish look to it.

I did have curry this week, on thursday and friday, so I want to say it's that, but when I wiped..I'm not sure if it was because of the light, but there were flecks on it that looked sort of red. It wasn't a bright, noticeable red, but like a hint of red on yellow.

It could just be the light and my anxiety getting to me, but I'm not sure if I should be really worried about this or not. I'm seeing the doctor on Monday so maybe I'll get answers there. In the mean time I'm going to keep an eye on it...

..What do you guys think?

If it is truly red, it could be a concern but don't get stressed. If you have IBD,stress can make it worse. Glad you are seeing your doctor Monday. Let us know what he says .

I think you'd find some help and support by finding a good therapist to help you "re-wire" your brain which appears to be pre-disposed to anxiety and possibly OCD.

Anxiety is an illness; not a character trait. It's treatable. :)
