Worse cramps?

Just wondering, if any of you ladies have experienced that your period cramps have gotten worse since the diagnosis of an IBD? Since I was diagnosed in July I have had two periods and they've been quite heavy and the cramps have become more painful than they were before, is this something to do with IBD or something different altogether?

I couldn't tell you. However, did you have spotty or fairly light periods beforehand? If so, it's possible that once your body starts healing from your flare that everything else maybe trying to catch up.

I do know that every 2-3 months I have a heavy bleed now along with more/harder cramps. But, when I was in a bad flare my periods weren't as heavy and were all over the place because at the time the rest of me was bleeding so to speak.
