So my words are biting me in the arse....Almost literaly.
I said yesterday i think i would rather have a bit more diarrhea than the pain, it was that excrutiating. Well, now i have both.....I have gone over ten times today, and my bum is sooooo sore, and the abdominal pain is no better! I think i need to get some baby wipes....And just when i thought i couldn't go any more, and could handle a bit of jello, no dice.....I don't understand how non solid things turn into poop...i really don't.

I've been having some gi issues off and on since high school (i'm 27), but never to this extent, usually just a day or two, this has been over two months. I'm starting to wonder if this should be in the vent area. LOL.
I guess i'm just feeling a little discouraged from my appt. today, the fact that i have to go another 5 months before the colonoscopy, and that things don't seem to be getting better, as i may have hoped, but significantly worse. :(

Hopefully i can get a good sleep tonight, and feel some newfound hope in the morning. :depressed:

(((HUGS)))) to you - can you try and get a more urgent appointment? that is a looong time to wait with no treatment!

thanks Shaz. I am on a wait list, and perhaps if things continue to get worse they will bump it up.

Tamesis, don't suffer in pain for too long. Don't be afraid to go to the ER. If you get admitted, maybe they could do a Colonoscopy sooner. 5 months really is a long wait. I hope you feel better.

Thanks. :)
Today is a little better...The D seems to have let up a little bit, which makes the pain a bit more managable. Now if i could only get some sleep.....
I'm just hoping and praying for the waitlist to come through and get my scope in January. :)

It doesn't hurt. I have the Cottonelle flushable wipes. They are better than baby wipes which I have also used. Definitely pick up the flushable ones. Its better just to see those go away rather than throwing them away. I got mine from Costco. A bunch of them for like $14 bucks.

Tamesis, like the others said, if the pain gets to bad go to the ER. I know how it feels to be in a ton of pain but yet you feel like they will think your a whiner but your not. If you wait to long things can go south really fast and than you end up with even worse problems. If you have that much D make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Not sodas either. You want to make sure you don't get de-hydrated.

Thanks again everyone. :)
Picked up some butt cream while iw ait for the calmoseptine to get shipped, and some flushable wipes (thanks for the tip on that!)
No D yet today, thankfully, hopefully it stays away until at least saturday! :)
