I have heard stories that there working on intestine transplants?!!! Now how much this is true I don't no, but apparently because there is so much bacteria in our guts it's far from easy to work out how to match cells ect! So my question is this.
Would you risk having this done if it meant living free from crohns or UC but have the risk of it potentially going wrong and living with a permanent ileostomy/colostomy?
Serious question I no, me personally see it like this, I'm in more pain then not, I have had an ileostomy and reversed, but knowing that eventually it will most likely see my life end with an permanent ileostomy, damn I would risk it.
And for people already with osteomy bags, would you change the way you live now and go back?!
