Is anyone here on a yeast free diet or know a lot about it? My allergy tests show that my allergy to both bakers and brewers yeast is off the chart. I guess it's best I try a yeast free diet. I have a feeling this isn't going to be very fun, but neither is pain, so let's go for it and see what happens :)

Anyway, does anyone have a book they've read on it that they think is excellent? Or any reputable websites? I know next to nothing about it and want to read up a lot before I start.

Thank you kindly!

i have to smile, brewers yeast and bakers yeast......
Hmmmmm, bread and beer? give them up

SCD diet - "Saccharamyces cerevisae is baker's yeast and is illegal."
Paleo - "Never consume grains, dairy, vegetable oils, legumes, sugar, yeast or NSAIDs when trying to heal your gut

Aww, David. I know you tried SCD and didn't get on so well with it, but that or Paleo might be the way to go. How are you with wheat and gluten?

I didn't realize SCD and paleo are yeast free. Interesting.

Yeah, I didn't do all that well with the SCD.

Sorry I can't help much with the diet David, but which allergy tests did you have? Just interested.
The first one I had done was LEAP. The more recent one's name is evading me. I'll ask my wife when she wakes up. I can't find the paperwork right now.

What's frustrating is the two tests had different results.

:angry-banghead:

It's so hard to know what to believe.
